FALL RESET

Not Everyone Gets To Come With You

Fall reminds us that change doesn’t always mean starting over.

Sometimes it simply means letting go.

The leaves don’t apologize when it’s time to fall. They don’t hold on because they’re afraid of what people will think. They just know when it’s time.

Maybe that’s what your Fall Reset is really about—not becoming a completely different person or fixing everything that’s wrong, but honestly asking:

What am I ready to release?
What have I outgrown?
Where am I headed?

Sometimes the answer is a relationship.

Maybe it’s the friend who only seems happy for you when you’re struggling, turns your accomplishments into competition, or wants access to your life without being there when you need them.

Maybe it’s simply someone you’ve grown apart from.

And here’s the hard part:

Not every relationship that ends is a bad relationship.

Sometimes people simply stop belonging in the same season.

You don’t have to make someone the villain, create drama, or explain yourself to everyone. You don’t have to become cold just because you’ve learned to have boundaries.

You can love someone and still choose distance. You can forgive someone and still protect your peace. You can appreciate the memories and still recognize that you’re not going back.

Your Fall Reset isn’t just about cleaning out your closet. It’s about releasing what has been taking up space in your heart, mind, and life:

People-pleasing.
Comparison.
Guilt.
The need for approval.
Draining relationships.
Old expectations.
And the version of yourself you’ve been carrying simply because everyone else is comfortable with her.

Maybe you don’t need a new life.
Maybe you just need a new direction.

Sometimes that direction requires leaving a few things behind—including people.

Not because you’re better than them or because they’re necessarily bad, but because you’re learning that protecting your spark is part of loving yourself.

So as you step into this next season, ask yourself:

Who gets to come with me?

And just as importantly:

Who doesn’t?

You don’t have to answer overnight. Just be honest with yourself.

The people meant for your next chapter won’t require you to become smaller to keep them comfortable. They’ll celebrate your growth, respect your boundaries, tell you the truth without tearing you down, make room for your light, and remind you of your worth when you forget.

That’s the kind of friendship worth carrying into the next season.

Everything else?

Maybe it’s time to let it fall.

🍂 Your Fall Reset starts with deciding what you refuse to carry forward.

So this month's Fall Reset is about releasing what no longer belongs—and making room for what does.

I've put together a playlist to go along with it.

🎧Fall Reset- Beyond The Mirror ; Found on apple Music

Put it on while you're cleaning out a closet, taking a drive, journaling, walking, or simply sitting with yourself.

Let the music say some of the things you're not quite ready to say yet.

🦋 Beyond the Mirror

The mirror reflects our appearance. It can never reflect our worth.

Reflection Question

If you could leave one relationship, expectation, or pattern behind this fall, what would it be—and what would you make room for instead?
